Baptistry and small pool heater (3kw only)

pool heater3kw 240v Baptistry and small pool heater with 7 metres of 3-core flex.

Baptistries and small pools can be heated economically and efficiently with a pool heater. These user friendly popular heaters are already in use in hundreds of churches and chapels throughout the country and have been on the market for years.

Comprising an incoloy 800 sheathed element fitted with a heavy duty bakelite handle, the unit incorporates a guard to prevent damage to the sides or bottom of plastic-lined pools.

Each pool heater has a long cold stem, enabling it to be immersed in as little as 22 centimeters of water, or to within a few centimeters of bakelite handle, without risk of damage.

To reduce heat losses, floor covering boards (or some other form of cover) should be in position whilst the pool heater is switched on.

The standard model is 3kw (taking approximately 13 amps) and is normally available from stock. It takes about 24 hours to heat a pool containing 3000 litres of water to 20 degrees celsius.
Warnings

  • Never allow the handle to be immersed in water, and take extra care to prevent the heater falling over in the pool.
  • When used in baptistries, these heaters should be plugged in 12-14 hours before the service starts, and must be disconnected and removed from the water before the service starts.
  • It is recommended that an earth leakage circuit breaker be connected in each pool heater circuit and set by a qualified electrician, before the unit is used.
